It’s time once again to reflect back on another year in my life and quite frankly, it has been a real eye opener for me well beyond much I already was aware of.
I am largely speechless that both the Democrat and Republican Parties gave us the two worst candidates in history for president, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
As we now know, Trump won by the electoral college vote with Hillary winning the popular vote that has once again set off cries of the electoral college being outmoded and worthless by Democrats and early riots and unrest by some fringe Liberals over the outcome as efforts were also made to encourage electors to “vote their conscience” and elect anybody else besides Trump.

This blog has long said that former 49th Legislative District Representative Jim Moeller never met a tax he didn’t like. In fact, even he credits me with tagging him as “da Taxman” long ago on his facebook page.
Even more so that other tax happy alt-left liberals, Moeller appears gleeful at the prospect of confiscating more and more revenue from the people, falsely believing it’s his job, in his ever increasing desire to increase taxes, “to make sure its NOT on the workers.”
What he simply cannot fathom is that any tax increase or increase in business expense ultimately is passed on to those very workers he frets about in higher costs, higher unemployment, less hours and even fewer actual jobs if businesses come to realize it is just too expensive to operate in Washington State any longer.

What we all witnessed during Public Comment at the last County Council meeting on Dec. 13 was no doubt pleasing to former Councilor David Madore. Finger wagging, threats of not being reelected for some perceived support of a project no longer on the table, allegations of governmental bullying that should land council members in federal prison as the former chair of the Clark County Republican Party chimed in how wise it would be to pay heed to those vitriolic outbursts.
I say pleasing to Madore as ever since he was relegated to a minority position hardly a meeting passed that he didn’t hurl similar accusations, even though in a much more measured manner towards the council majority he quickly labeled “the Three Liberals.”
Others from within his camp of malcontents preferred “the Three Stooges” as all seemed to forget that the county solidly rejected Madore at the ballot box along with his vision for how the county ought to be.
