Thoughts on Shooting Crimes: Updated

by lewwaters

Watching the last couple days as news of the Colorado Springs shooting comes out, it occurred to me that whenever a shooting happens and the shooter yells “Allahu Akbar” while shooting, we are quickly told to not jump to conclusions or that not all Muslims to blame.

Yet, if it is a White person shooting, we instantly hear it must be a Right wing extremist of some sort and a Republican, long before the shooters name is even known and that all conservatives are itching to do the same, so the public must be disarmed and the NRA abolished.

If the shooter is a Black person in Chicago shooting other Black people, we hear nothing at all!

UPDATE, Thursday Nov. 3, 2015: Sadly, we have experienced another shooting, in San Bernadino, California. Although no mention has come out yet of an cries of “Allahu Akbar,” we know the shooters were both Muslim, Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik. Farook is said to be an American citizen, Malik from Pakistan.

Little is know just yet, but CAIR was quick to come out and remind us Islam is not at fault.

Strangely enough, the media, while promoting Islam is not responsible, has no problem pushing that the Christian God is ineffective.

Liberal politicians quickly point fingers at Republicans, the NRA and gun owners, ignoring that California already has some of the toughest gun laws in the country and they did not even slow these two down as they broke every known California law to commit the heinous act.

But, as we so often see with Liberals, “never let a crisis go to waste.”

Whether this ends up being Jihad, Islamic, Domestic or a newly coined “Hybrid,” it’s terrorism.

Are these incidents the “New Normal?”

Only if you are willing to allow it.
