Saying Goodbye to 2014

by lewwaters

Fireworks 3Another year is coming to a close and in spite of efforts by operatives from the Clark County R3publicans, the little blog performed well again, exceeding 100,000 views in the year. A summary provided by WordPress can be viewed at Annual Review.

2014 was a year of revelations to me, many I wish I hadn’t seen that have left me very distrustful of some elected officials I previously supported. One of the bigger disappointments was hearing very early in the year of a new media source forming that would fill the void left by the Lazy C and not seeing it materialize, but amount to little more than a facebook page.

Be that as it may, 2015 is before us with many unknowns that only time will reveal.

Happy New Year to one and all. I sincerely hope you all have a great 2015 where you prosper and thrive.

  1. The biggest disappointment for me was the passage of the county charter. The greatest satisfaction was that Jeanne Stewart defeated Craig Pridemore for Commissioner.

    Happy New Year Lew!

  2. Lew, thanks for shining the light on so many important issues. You are one of my heroes. We should grab a cup of coffee one of these days. My cell is 360-281-9720. Happy new year.
