Saying Goodbye to 2014

by lewwaters

Fireworks 3Another year is coming to a close and in spite of efforts by operatives from the Clark County R3publicans, the little blog performed well again, exceeding 100,000 views in the year. A summary provided by WordPress can be viewed at Annual Review.

2014 was a year of revelations to me, many I wish I hadn’t seen that have left me very distrustful of some elected officials I previously supported. One of the bigger disappointments was hearing very early in the year of a new media source forming that would fill the void left by the Lazy C and not seeing it materialize, but amount to little more than a facebook page.

Be that as it may, 2015 is before us with many unknowns that only time will reveal.

Happy New Year to one and all. I sincerely hope you all have a great 2015 where you prosper and thrive.

Of Lefty Lou and Blake Washburn, a Tale of Two Editors

by lewwaters

HeraldEverybody is familiar with Lazy C editor, Lefty Lou Brancaccio and his ongoing obsession against two County Commissioners as well as a State Senator being named to head the County’s Department of Environmental Services, revealed of late twice weekly in Lefty’s tangents masquerading as editorials.

Lefty, to my knowledge, has never revealed an end goal in his screeds, other than to see these few people out of office and replaced by some more to the liking of the downtown mafia that tried desperately to stick the middle class in Clark County with Billions of dollars in debt for extending Portland’s financially troubled light rail into our community and that by all appearances, plans to resurrect that folly.

Even many on the left that share in Lefty’s disdain of the right groan at the weekly tedious, redundant tirades, many leaving comments to that effect under them.

Anti-Gun Ad Encourages Children to Break Gun Laws

by lewwaters

Unbelievable, even for the anti-gun fanatics. View the video and see how many violations of both the law covering guns and safe gun handling rules taught by the NRA and other gun groups you see.

One of the most irresponsible ads I have ever seen. A loaded gun in the hands of an untrained child, carrying it to school, and theft? The gun is legal. Everything encouraged in this ad is not. This is no way to lessen any violence and in fact, could be the cause of more of it.

Don’t Break Your Arm, Lefty

by lewwaters

Back Pat 2As expected, since County Commissioner Jeanne Stewart cast the vote defeating Commissioner Mielke’s ordinance, the Lazy C’s Lefty Lou Brancaccio can’t help but crow as if he and that dumbass coffee cup of his were responsible.

Let us recall that it was Lefty and his cronies that did everything they could to see her not win the election. And, they nearly succeeded.

I had no opinion on the ordnance itself, so how the vote went did not matter to me.

Is Jeanne Stewart Still Just a “Madore Lackey?”

by lewwaters

Madore & StewartI am sure readers will recall the demeaning claims made against Jeanne E. Stewart in her successful campaign for Clark County Commissioner this year against Democrat, Craig Pridemore.

Even the Lazy C and Lefty Lou couldn’t resist piling on her and tying her to County Commissioner David Madore, hated nearly as much as is Sen. Don Benton.

Nowhere were the smears against her seen more than by comments on the facebook C3G2 hate site as commenters piled it on. From their page, a small sampling of what we saw;

Lazy C Pegs Hypocrisy Scale ….. Again!

by lewwaters

Tits on a bullLeave it to the blight on our community, the local daily mouthpiece for the Democrat Party better known hereabouts as the “Lazy C” to always show us what true hypocrisy looks like. Under the leadership of Lefty Lou, they never fail to show complete and utter hypocrisy as they work towards implementing a one-party rule under the leftists.

The Monday, Dec 15, 2014 “In Our View” editorial gives us an excellent example of just that.

I’m not going to delve too much on the actual subject, County Commissioner Tom Mielke’s proposal to “prevent County Administrator Mark McCauley from consolidating or eliminating any of the departments as he assumes new power as county manager when the charter goes into effect Jan. 1” as that issue will be settled soon after a public hearing and open discussion between the County Commissioners.

An Open Letter to Lefty Lou

by lewwaters

Brancaccio FiatFirst and foremost, Lou, lay off the retard pills!

Now, let’s get some things out in the open, shall we?

Your management of the local Pravda has done more harm to this community than anything I can think of. Your rants disdain and hostility towards those who dare believe differently than you reduces your “editorial talents” to that of a schoolyard bully.

Yes, I said B-U-L-L-Y!!

Shame on Both Political Parties

by lewwaters

As most realize, today, December 7 is what has been known as “the date that will live in infamy” due to the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor back in 1941 that thrust the United States into World War Two.

It is a day to be remembered and has been remembered since.

Locally, there is a yearly Remembrance hosted by the Sons & Daughters of Pearl Harbor Survivors to keep the memory alive, what with survivors of that fateful day being short in number now due to age.

Updated: Why Keep Remembering Pearl Harbor?

by lewwaters

pearl-harbor-uss-virginiaTo a lot of younger people today, the sudden attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 is just a note in history. A note that I am sure many think has no relevance on their lives today.

They couldn’t be more wrong. With the attack launching us onto World War Two and the all out effort to defeat the Axis powers, not only was our own freedoms preserved, but former enemies that we defeated came to enjoy freedoms and became our partners.

There have been efforts since the attack at controversy. Claims of advance knowledge of it coming, allowing it to happen, even that then President Roosevelt provoked Japan into attacking us (sound familiar, Ron Paulies?)

I doubt much of that mattered that peaceful Sunday morning to the men and women that were abruptly thrust into war by the surprise attack, though.

Lazy C Goes Full Moron

by lewwaters

Ron Paul CrybabyIf you ever needed evidence of how inept the local blight on the community, the Columbian, better known as the Lazy C, really is, you will find it in their In Our View column of Monday, Dec 1, 2014.

Imagine, they believe they have the pull to make demands of select elected individuals, primarily County Commissioner Jeanne E. Stewart.

They state, “New commissioner Stewart must prove to residents she’s no one’s puppet”

Can you recall any other elected official being given that demand?

I don’t.

Not Liar Leavitt, Steve Stuart, Betty Sue Morris or any left wing twit ever elected.
