Does Alishia Topper Really See Education as Just a “Weapon?”

by lewwaters

Alishia Topper 9New to politics and hoping to replace the main city council member who has consistently stood on the side of citizens over special interests, Alishia Topper continues to show a disconnect with the very community she wishes to elect her.

It has been previously shown that apparently, her memory of the horrific events of September 11, 2001 are gone or no longer matters to her, what with scheduling a party type rock n roll fundraiser for the day to compete with commemorations.

And she continues to not impress as now she posts a quote from known Communist, Nelson Mandela on education.

Alishia, Education

Please note, in her effort to appear welcoming children back to school, the very quote she uses lists education as a “weapon,” not a tool or a means to self improvement.

No, it is a “weapon” to “change the world” just as Progressives, Communists, Marxists and more have preached for over a century now.

An example of using education as a “weapon” is seen in this video of a Michigan Professor berating students and American Citizens who may not belong to his “party.”

For all of the praise leftists’ heap on Mandela, has he made South Africa better for anybody?

Since Mandela led a change in South Africa, crime has proliferated leading many to leave the country citing the high crime rate. “South Africa has a very high rate of murders, assaults, rapes (adult, child and infant), and other crimes compared to most countries,” says an entry on South Africa’s crime rate from Wikipedia.

And along with increased crime you can expect poverty to follow suit.

We do not need someone who idolizes Nelson Mandela without a clue of what he stood for and what he helped bring about in a country that used to be prosperous.

We do not need someone with a radical view of education being a “weapon” to “change the world” instead of a means of self-improvement to lead someone to prosper and contribute to society in a meaningful way.

Don’t let a pretty face fool you.
We must retain Jeanne E. Stewart on the Vancouver City Council due to her standing up for citizens.

Ms. Stewart is not bought and paid for by downtown special interests hoping to increase their bank accounts on taxpayers’ backs.

I urge you all, support and vote for Jeanne E. Stewart, Vancouver City Council position 2.
