“David the Occupier” Tries to Justify Lost Wages to Middle Class Workers

by lewwaters

David the Occupier, December 12, 2011 1pm  [From Victoria Taft, KPAM 860]

It comes as no surprise that this group of malcontents, calling themselves “occupiers” but who in reality are nothing more than anarchists foolishly pushing for the country to become communist, justify their every action, no matter how much they hurt everyday workers.

Since they decided they have some “right” to take over and hold public parks, denying the rest of us our right to enjoy the parks, they have ratcheted up their discontent as they seek more notoriety, regardless of any destruction they may cause.

Just today, Monday December 12, 2011 we see them up and down the West Coast interfering with interstate commerce, shutting down ports, blocking middle class truckers from doing their jobs and earning a days wages. What they think they are accomplishing escapes me.

They claim the support of rank and file workers, but the online poll offered by KGW News shows overwhelmingly that they have little support among the middle class. I imagine the thousands of people who lost wages today due to their ongoing tantrum aren’t too happy about that.

One such protester, a young mother identified only as “Lotus” boasts of having her 4-year old daughter on the train tracks! (about the 1:15 mark)

Vodpod videos no longer available.

“Lotus” claims, “The thing is, I have faith in humanity, I don’t think any person driving a train is going to haul through a bunch of peaceful people with children.” No doubt, had any injuries happened to the 4 year-old child, that ditz “Lotus” would be fast to find an ambulance chaser to sue the Port, the Rail Company and the city.

That these people are being tolerated by their illegal actions is an abomination upon itself. Their cries of “peaceful protest” are drowned out by their actions interfering with struggling middle class workers earning a living. And they still maintain support of rank & file workers, even though one sign seen in TV news reports stated, “Sorry for the inconvenience to your APATHY!”

To these twits, if you strive to care for your families, you are now “apathetic.”

The claim of sending a message to Goldman Sachs is laughable. How does taking money out of the pockets of middle class wage earners affect Goldman Sachs? They have the wealth to sit back and wait these morons out.

The longer these idiots are allowed to get away with such actions, the bolder they become. They falsely claim to be “the 99%” but are actually only the bottom 1% of society, those expecting to be spoonfed whatever they wish and contribute little, if anything to society.

Capitalism is what grew the middle class, not the communism and class warfare they advocate.

People across America are quickly getting fed-up with these freeloaders and mayors who abide by their wishes instead of dealing with the lawless fringe left. The media’s embracing of the jerks and the destruction they cause is equally as ridiculous.

Middle class workers are entitled to earn wages, without interference from anarchists and leftists trying to forcibly impose their desires on the majority.

Just as happened back in 1970, if the mayors and governors in America do not begin dealing with these whiny little freeloaders, others might know how to.

  1. I listened to a man tonight complain that we spent $40k on police services to assist Portland with their occupy protesters. That 27 men and women sworn to uphold and protect the citizens and the laws in this state not sworn to the state of Oregon and serving in Oregon is obsurd.
There are two issues besides the wages that we need to consider.
First the issue is that these officers may not be protected from liability based on the fact that they are performing duties outside their legal jurisdiction and therefore may wind up being sued by citizens in Oregon.
Second is the issue that these officers may be hurt in the line of duty while performing services in another sovereign state that they are not legally sworn in by. Who then is liable for their workmen’s comp or their, God forbid, death benefits? Oregon? But they don’t work for any government entity in Oregon… so who?
Will either the Oregon protesters or their governments in Oregon show humane treatment to our state employees while serving inside their state lines?
We are not in control so the answer must be no way and keep our boys home where they belong inside our own state lines.

  2. Carolyn, are you speaking of the Vancouver police officers or Clark County sheriffs that might be over there helping control the crowds?

I personally feel that there should be a review of sending police officers over there to do crowd control or other ditz-y things like that for the reasons you stated. Someone should be asking about the state of mutual aid agreement that most police and fire departments will call out for when there is a state of emergency or serious need.

I don’t mind sharing officers or fire people if there is a real natural disaster. But a lot of what is going on in Portland is really the saddest mark that the mayor refused for almost two months to let these people stay in the parks. Now they believe that they can get away with this crap.

Maybe its time we get a good round of citizens up like they did with the motorcycle motorcade for the westboro baptist church folks. Get the LOUD speakers on the bikes going and drown these fools out-of-existance? And repeat it until they learn a lesson. That the average working folks they are hurting are sick of their B$.

  3. Carolyn, all of the local law enforcement agencies have a mutual support agreement that defines the exact things you are concerned about, and does in fact protect our Law Enforcement Officers from legal harm when they are asked to back up another agency in a different jurisdiction. They would not and could not go assist another agency without such an agreement in place. Good questions, and you are exactly right to be concerned about that, and VPD will gladly give you the specifics about it if you ask.

What about the two guys that were busted early yesterday morning, speeding on Marine Drive in a stolen car, headed toward the Port of Portland, and armed with a pistol, several loaded magazines, a sword, and a gas mask?? Of course the spokesman for Occupy Portland immediately disavowed any knowledge, but the fact is they invite these kind of people to these “actions” then stand back and try to play innocent when the misbehavior starts.

And anyone who deliberately puts a child on a set of railroad tracks to block a train ought to be up on charges of child endangerment, at the very least.

These “occupiers” are becoming increasingly deranged and irrational and it is only a matter of time before someone else gets seriously injured or kille.

  4. The thing about Lefties is that they are like a bunch of spoiled-rotten little kids. If they don’t get their way, they start throwing tantrums. The more their selfish wants are denied, the more of a tantrum they throw.

Eventually they go into a total rage like that little punk down in K00Kifornia shooting people indiscriminately and screaming that they’re going to kill everyone.

That’s why Leftism is an incurable disease of the brain and it’s almost always terminal. Lefties are really sick bastards.

  5. Hey Lew, I think you’l love this one… I found this little gem via IOwntheWorld.com and it is an outstanding example of how to properly deal with an occupussy.

This was taken aboard a train in Scotland while the conductor got some assistance removing a fare dodger…this is a classic!

I would have paid real money to see one of those truckers at the Port of Portland handle a couple of those protesters this way….
